Electrical Outlet Installation
Having safe and reliable outlets begins with correct installation. We’ll choose the right type of outlet for the job that you need it to do. We will also ensure that the circuit it’s on has adequate capacity. As professionals, we meticulously comply with the applicable codes and regulations to ensure your new outlet is safe.
Outlet Replacement and Upgrades
We can replace outlets that are no longer working or that may be dangerous. If you live in an older home, you may want to consider upgrading many, if not all, of your outlets. For example, we can replace any older kitchen or bathroom outlets with GFCI outlets for greater safety around water. In addition, we can upgrade two-prong outlets to three-prong grounded outlets if a ground wire is present. Many pre-1960 homes don’t have a ground wire. If no ground wire is present, we can rewire your home with one before installing 3-prong plugs. Alternatively, we can install 3-prong GFCI outlets or a GFCI breaker instead of rewiring.
Light Switch Installation and Repair
We can also provide installation for a variety of light switch types, including dimmer switches and ceiling fans. Light switches can wear out over time. If you have one that’s no longer working, we can fix or replace it. It’s always a good idea to contact an electrician for even small lighting jobs. We’ll ensure the installation or repair is correct and safe.
Switch Repair and Troubleshooting
One advantage of professional switch repair is that we get to the bottom of your problem. If you’re having issues with your switch, simply replacing it might not be the right solution. The problem might be an overloaded circuit or an issue with your wiring, electrical panel, or entire system. You can count on us to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose the issue whether big or small.
